Assalamu alikum,
Dear Brothers in Islam,
This is must for every muslim to know regarding talaaq. First of all, please keep in mind that Talaaq is not HALAAL but it has RUKHSAT of it. For example, we do TAYAMMUM, if conditions are met. Like that we can give Talaaq if following conditions are met. Otherwise it is HARAAM. Please don't play with Islam without or half knowledge.
Allah SWT drawn rules in Soorah Nisaa 34 and 35.
1. Pre-Condition : The reasons for giving Talaaq must be SHARA'EE.
2. On any Shara'ee mistake, the husband must do NASEEHAT and give some days to think.
3. Second condition, if naseehat is not working, then he should stop talking and make another bed for her or him. Again give some days.
4. Third Condition is to beat. Beating must be, not like enemy but like our kids. And must not be on face.
5. One important person from each side must sit together and take decision/solve.
6. After the above conditions failed the husband may give one talaaq in the normal days (not in HAIZ).
7. If till that time she is not cooperative, then after HAIZ (paaki ki haalat main) second time he may give one talaaq.
8. If till that time she is not understanding, then husband may give talaaq and one with month's expenditure and he should send her home with respect.
If the husband touches/meets to his wife between this period, then it is automatically RUJOO. Again he has to start the same procedure again.
